Krishna with Consorts

Krishna standing in
tribhanga pose on a padmasana. His right hand is holding a crooked stick
while the left hand is bent so as to rest on the shoulder of Sathyabhama. Kesa
bandha over the head. The right ear has makarakundala and the left has the patrakundala.
Rukmini stands similarly on the right of Krishna on a padmasana. Right hand
is in lola hasta and the left in kataka. The hair is arranged in a
beautiful dhammilla fashion. Sathyabhama stands similarly on the left of
Krishna. This portrays similarity with Rukmini except for the position of the hands. |

21 cm. About 17th century AD.
The Prabha
has a several headed cobra over the head of Vishnu, discus, makaras, yali,
conch and foliage.
The discus and fingers of the back right hand are broken and missing. The Vadagalai
namam is present on Vishnu's forehead.
