Pagiophyllum

   It is a Conifierales fossil plant in 'Gymnosperm'. It belongs to the 'Jurassic' period. It is referred to a leafy twig, collected from Chawad river section, Kutch district in Gujarat.

 

 

Ptilophyllum

    A petrified fossil plant referred to a stem with leaf-base, belongs to the period lower 'Cretaceous'. It is Bhuj formation. Collected from Kakadbhit, Kutch district in Gujarat.

Vertebraria indica, Rolye

    A member of gymnosperm fossil plant, it belongs to the period late-Permian. It is from the Raniganj formation; referred to leaves, with a strong mid-vein giving off a network of secondary veins borne together with smaller scale leaves. It was dug out from Raniganj coal field in West Bengal.
