        Lord Siva is seated on a Elephant. The artist gave Black colour to the Elephant figure. Siva Holding an Axe in the left and drum in the right hand. In the Background of Siva, Mount Kailash is drawn.

Fort of Lanka

Size : 22 x 31 cm.

Tempera and wash. Jaipur. 19th century AD.

        Transferred from the School of Arts and Crafts in 1943.

        It is a figure of a fort in Sri Lanka drawn by the artist, as if it existing in the epic Ramayana period. The soldiers are possessing cruel weapons, the faces become animal like. The Asuras are busy as if preparing for war.
